The Traitors star reveals huge hint she gave the Faithfuls before she was banished

THE TRAITORS star Ash Bibi has admitted her exit speech on the BBC One show may have contained a coded message.

Ash broke her silence on the secret code viewers think that she gave to the faithfuls - throwing them a lifeline as their numbers dwindle.

Last week viewers saw Ash become the first Traitor to be banished from the Scottish castle - after being betrayed by her fellow secret schemers.

She had fought tooth and nail to stay in the show, after Paul floated the idea that she should be one of four people to be imprisoned in the castle dungeon, insisting it would convince the faithuls that she was one of them.

But her stay in the grotty jail concluded on a more distressing note than she had anticipated.

Shortly after narrowly escaping the previous banishment Ash was once again faced with accusations of being a Traitor, and was left desperately fighting to stay afloat in the game.

Piling on the pressure, two of her fellow Traitors, Harry and Paul, voted against her in the previous round, despite Ash believing they had teamed up to resolve any underlying issues.

Given the breach of trust, viewers believed Ash harboured a lust for revenge and planned to throw the Traitors to the wolves with a secret coded message.

Speaking to The Sun following her exit, Ash also didn't deny their theory. Smiling, the events organiser told us: "I know what you're talking about.

"And do you know what, I'm going to leave that to your readers' imagination. I can't confirm or deny that."

The secret coded message was: "It’s been a magnificent honour and a privilege to be here."

Viewers connected the first letter of the key words in her sentence and concluded she was referring to her fellow Traitors, Miles, Harry, and Paul.

Now fans will have to wait and see if brainy Diane, or suspicous Jaz, have decoded the riddle.

In the latest episode of the Traitors, Paul, Miles and Harry, were tasked with handing one unlucky faithful a poisoned chalice.

And Diane was their number one target.

The trio managed to find the cup in the library and went about their plan to introduce it while serving alcohol in the kitchen.

Miles called out to the rest of the group, who thirstily arrived at the bar.

The final clip saw Miles telling Diane he didn't want his drink because it contained fizzy rose, and she accepted the cup, but it is yet to be seen whether Diane takes a sip.

Viewers can't wait to be put out of their misery, and find out either way when the game show returns to BBC One on Wednesday night.

Discussing show 'villain' Paul and his game plan, Ash had only respect for her fellow Traitor.

She said: "He is amazing, you've got to hand it to him, he is playing a blinder, and I'm so excited for him. I'm at the edge of my seat, I can't wait to see what happens."

On turning against her, Ash said: "I just wanted to be a team player, and that was my main thing. I was hoping that is what would help me.

"Do you know what? They were doing their job and they did it very very well.

"They are all playing a blinder. They are all brilliant.

"For me it was difficult because as soon as the spotlight came on me it was really intense but I think I was quite uptight.

"Whereas Miles, Harry and Paul are really relaxed and that's a key thing. It's a lot tougher than it looks and it's super intense around that roundtable. You just don't know how you are going to feel.

"I have to back my Traitors."

The Traitors has had fans gripped ever since the first episode of the second series got underway.

Official viewing figures reveal a staggering 8.2 million fans watched the first three instalments.
