DANCING On Ice has signed up comedian Josh Jones for the 2025 series as he admitted today "I've can't skate at all".
The stand-up comedian from Manchester was announced on radio station Gaydio this morning.
He told listeners: "I've not got any skating experience whatsoever.
"I did it once for a date years ago and I wasn't very good.
"I was holding onto the railings the entire time and we aren't together now.
"My dancing isn't great either, for a gay man I have no rhythm, I struggle to clap along to a beat so this will be fun."
Josh confirmed his spot over on Instagram, telling his followers: "Dancing on Ice is no laughing matter!"
DOI judge Oti Mabuse was one of the first to reach out from the series, writing: "This is great, welcome Josh! Can’t wait to see this!"
Dancing On Ice will be his first reality TV stint - but Josh has appeared on a number of panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats on E4, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club and Iain Stirling's CelebAbility on ITV2.
The Mancunian has also hosted and co-hosted several podcasts, including Hard Sell with Darren Harriott and Dead Drama, a historical gossip podcast
