3 police officers shot in DC

Three police officers were shot in Washington, D.C., Wednesday morning, all suffering non-life-threatening injuries, according to D.C. police.

A fourth officer was also injured in the incident, according to the D.C. Fire Department.

Authorities said the shooting scene "remains active."

Several schools in the area are on lockdown, according to law enforcement sources.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are responding.
