Strictly fans slam male judges for underscoring Ellie and Vito over lack of ‘intimacy’ – despite very steamy routine
STRICTLY fans have slammed the male judges for underscoring Ellie and Vito for their lack of 'intimacy' in their routine.
The hit BBC One dancing competition continued on Saturday night as the remaining celebs battled for a place in the quarter finals.
Viewers watched as Nigel Harman and Katya Jones put on a saucy display as fans thought they 'almost kissed'.
But they were also convinced former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and her partner Vito Coppola also had the same near-miss.
Despite the sexy performance as they danced a Argentine Tango, judges Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood weren't convinced.
Anton told the pair: "As we expect from you it was clean, it was quick. The speed was there, the tricks were magnificent.

"I felt - if I'm being hyper-critical - and we are at that stage, it lacked a bit of intensity at one point."
When host Tess Daly asked Craig if he agreed with Anton's review, he replied: "I didn't think it lacked intensity.
"I think it lacked intimacy. The A-frame of this dance, on occasion I felt that this was missing.
"It didn't look like a Argentine Tango because of that. But it was incredible as Anton said."
Strictly viewers at home were left furious by their comments as they ripped into both judges online.
One fan said: "Not intimate? Craig the intimacy is off the chart. I think I’m pregnant just by watching!"
A second posted: "Please replace Craig next year. He can’t find positives in anything that is performed and it’s getting so boring now and annoying."
"This was absolutely INCREDIBLE. So confused that Craig and Anton just didn’t see how amazing it was," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "Anton giving out high scores like Christmas cards but decides to be hyper picky and take a point off this one..."
While Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas gave Ellie and Vito a 10, Craig and Anton scored her 9, bringing her total to 38 points.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
