I DIY my own 3-ingredient body glow – it gives a beautiful sheen to my skin and is a great way to use up leftover makeup
A BRIDAL makeup artist has shared how she makes her DIY body glow which is perfect for any bride's big day.
She said it not only gives a nice sheen to her skin, but it's a budget-friendly way to use any leftover makeup.
Beauty professional Alessandra (@makeupbyalessandra) shares useful tips for women to look their best online, even if it's not their wedding day.
She shared her simple recipe in an Instagram Reel to create her DIY body glow.
Alessandra was visible from the chest up and wore a strapless top and pearl earrings to give off a bridal style.
"I made my own body glow and you can too," she said.
It is also environmentally friendly because it repurposes old cosmetics.
She combined coconut oil, and a baby oil into a spray bottle, and "scraped an old highlighter" into the mixture as the last addition.
As the final step, she shook all of the ingredients together to create her DIY glow product.
"I really struggled to find a body glow that wasn't glittery," she said.
Alessandra added that her creation gives a "beautiful sheen to the skin."
She also encouraged others to try it at the end of the video.
