Married At First Sight star reveals urgent A&E dash after struggling to breathe

MARRIED At First Sight star Nikita Jasmine revealed she was forced to go to A&E after being left struggling to breathe.

The 29-year-old returned to social media after a two week break and explained to her followers how poorly she had been with Strep A and laryngitis.

After a course of antibiotics, Nikita is now on the mend and explained: “Been stuck on what to say as didn't have a very good start to the year unfortunately (too much stuff going on in the background all at once).

"Then fell poorly on NYE which started off as a cold then led onto StrepA & laryngitis so could barely swallow or breathe which wasn't great.

“On antibiotics for 2 bloody weeks, trips to A&E lol but now I'm back!

"Got anxiety on what to post as haven't been myself at all, kept looking at others so happy & ready to smash 2024 when my head wasn't in a good place and immune system had been terrible to boot.”

The star added: “Didn't want to put a brave face on & post everyday / pretending I was okay, acting like my jolly self etc hence why I had a small socials detox which honestly does do you the world of good and I'd recommend it to anyone!

"Really helps clear the mind!”

Nikita went on to explain that the experience has taught her who her real friends are because not everyone has reached out to her.

Nikita rose to fame on Married At First Sight in 2021 but her experience was cut short and she was removed for "unacceptable" behaviour.

This came after "a situation escalated off camera" and she "breached their code of conduct", Channel 4 said.

The star – who is good friends with the cast of Geordie Shore – appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2022.
