I’m a pro makeup artist – there’s an £8 buy that’s always in my bag, it keeps skin perfect all day long
WHEN it comes to make-up, a lot of us think that the more expensive it is, the better it must be.
But a pro make-up artist has insisted that's actually not the case on a lot of occasions.
Amanda Owen has worked at London Fashion Week, the National Television awards and in theatre, to name just a few.
And in a slideshow on TikTok, she revealed the budget high-street buys that are always in her make-up bag.
One product will undoubtedly be a godsend for many this summer - namely the L'Oreal Infallible three second setting mist.
The £8 product is said to deliver 36 hours with no transfers, and Amanda agrees that it's "amazing at keeping your make-up from moving".

Amanda continued her recommendations with a series of dupes, kicking off with the Rimmel Thrill Seeker Glassy Gloss in the shade Pink Candy.
"These glosses are fire but THIS shade is a dupe for my favourite Summer Fridays dream lip oil in the shade Pink Cloud," she said.
"Same colour and same shade for a FRACTION of the price.
"Wish I'd found this sooner!"
L'Oreal's Age Perfect BB Cover is a dupe for the IT Cosmetics CC cream, she said, adding: "Same coverage, perfect for everyday".
The No7 Flawless Finishing pressed powder is a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Finish powder, Amanda said, while Aveeno's Oat Gel moisturiser is a dupe for Tatcha's dewy skin cream - for £10 instead of £67.
Meanwhile, Boots' Traditional Skin Cream may be the "secret to a flawless make-up base".
And the NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip Gloss in the shade Follow Back will make you look like a "bronze goddess".
Elsewhere, Amanda recommended the Maybelline Sky High mascara in Burgundy if you have green eyes, and said that Rimmel's lip liner in Brown Pie "has my heart".
"100% with the no 7 powder it’s beautiful and defo a CT dupe," one person commented on the TikTok.
"Really is! And amazing for the price difference," Amanda replied.
"The No7 powder is unreal but I’m worried it will go viral and sell out!" another wrote.
"No7 powder is my holy grail!!!! my skin literally looks filtered," a third said.
