Jill Mills launched her blog Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons in 2011, sharing recipes, holiday ideas, and other tips.

She has garnered over 9 million followers on Facebook and over 140,000 on Instagram.

She delighted her fans when she shared easy tricks to make you have the “best smelling” house in your neighborhood.

Candles can be used to create a warm and relaxing mood, while also creating a beautiful aesthetic.

Jill recommended placing a vanilla-scented tea light candle in a bowl filled with coffee beans.

She said the hack will fill the house with the smell of fresh vanilla coffee as the beans heat up.

A pack of six vanilla bean tealight candles is available for $8.95 at Walmart.

The store also sells a bag of coffee beans for $5.98.

Bathrooms can have a musty smell due to the moisture, humidity, and water being splashed on the walls and floors.

Jill suggested hanging a bunch of eucalyptus around the shower head for a “spa-like” freshness.

Amazon’s Koceko store has sold over 600 orders of their dried eucalyptus for the shower over the past month.

For $9.99, customers receive 12 pieces of preserved eucalyptus stems that are around 15 to 17 inches in length.

The plant has a menthol smell that evokes “peace and tranquility.”

Shoppers have given the product a 4.6-star rating and penned rave reviews about how impressed they were with their order.

“These stems give off such a lovely scent that is not overpowering,” one customer said.

“I hung six (of the 12 in the pack) in my small, cottage bathroom near the shower and every time there is a bit of humidity from the shower, the scent intensifies a bit.

“I've read in numerous articles that the inhalation of eucalyptus has been associated with health benefits.

“I did find I was breathing more clearly the first time I showered with the strands in the room.

“My best advice would be to try it yourself to see if you enjoy any of the benefits mentioned in numerous health-related articles.”

“The eucalyptus smells great and makes my whole shower feel like a spa!” another customer wrote.

Jill shared a festive alternative for keeping homes smelling fresh after trying Rachel Shultz’s cranberry and cinnamon version.

She said “simmering” Christmas stove top potpourris which are made using inexpensive grocery items can make several rooms smell great.

Rachel Shultz recommends mixing sliced oranges, cinnamon sticks, cranberries, ground clove, nutmeg, and rosemary in a pot filled with warm water.

She said the scent can last up to three days.

The DIY home scent solutions come after research showed that some air fresheners can trigger allergy symptoms or worsen conditions such as asthma.
