‘Shot of the season.. that’s special’, says fans as Judd Trump sinks incredible pot en route to World Open win in China
JUDD TRUMP produced the "shot of the season" on his way to winning the World Open.
Fans were left in awe of his efforts in China on Sunday as he beat Ding Junhui 10-4 in the final.
In the first frame of the afternoon session, Trump pulled off an incredible shot whilst clearing the table.
Not only was he able to sink the blue, but the 34-year-old also positioned the cue ball perfectly for his next effort.
After ricocheting off the cushion, the ball nudged the pink forward to leave it in line with the pocket.
Trump followed his shot up by potting the pink and black to take the frame 130-0 and move 8-2 in front.

It was one of two century breaks in the match for the Ace in the Pack and his highest of the contest.
The shot was met with a round of applause from the crowd in attendance at the Yushan Sport Centre.
Meanwhile, Neal Foulds on commentary said: "That’s one of the great shots you’ll see all season."
Snooker fans agreed on social media, with one writing: "The best shot of the season. No doubt that this blue with position to play the pink is a special one."

A third fan also added: "Ridiculous shot."
Trump's World Open win is his fifth ranking title of the season, having also won the last edition of the event back in 2019.
His victory also saw him scoop £170,000 in prize money from the tournament.
