I promised to behave at my work Christmas party but things went horribly wrong and I ended up getting fired

A WOMAN who promised to "behave" at her Christmas party ended up getting fired when everything went wrong.

Molly took to TikTok to share a picture of herself looking sweet and innocent, over the top of which she wrote: "I promise I'll behave at the staff party".

She then shared a screenshot of a letter she'd apparently received from her boss, which read: "Dear Molly, It is with regret that I must confirm the outcome of my investigation into the events that took place at the staff Christmas party on Saturday evening."

The next part was blacked out, but it then continued to accuse her of risking "putting the reputation of the nursery into disrepute".

"This amounts to gross misconduct," the letter continued.

"As you are still on your probationary period, I had no option but to terminate your contract of employment with immediate effect."

It concluded by stating: "You agreed to bring your uniform into nursery before the end of term.

"You will be paid any holiday that you have accrued along with your hours for this month in your final pay packet on 7th January.

"The holiday amount if yet to be confirmed, but is likely to be over 80 hours."

"Gets sacked," Molly wrote over the top of the screenshot.

Molly didn't go into any further details as to just what she did to warrant getting fired.

And while she turned off comments on that video, people flocked to the comments section of another clip to weigh in.

"We need a story time about the Christmas party," one wrote.

"Miss girl... storyline NOWWW!! we want to know the tea!" another added.

"Come on, don’t leave us hanging," a third commented.

"What happened at the Christmas party?"

"We want to know what happened in the Christmas party! Please tell us!" someone else said.

"Tell us more about the Christmas party shenanigans," another wrote.

But Molly insisted she won't be revealing all.

In another video, she wrote: "When people comment 'story time' on my recent videos".

The clip showed her wagging her finger, while mouthing "No, no, no".
