Meghan Markle runs along a beach barefoot before writing 2025 in the sand in her first Instagram post in years
MEGHAN Markle has posted a video running along a beach barefoot, before writing 2025 in the sand.
The video, shared to the Duchess of Sussex's Instagram, is her first social media post in several years.
In it, Meghan, 43, can be seen running towards the sea on a large beach.
She then slows down to a walk, before bending down to write "2025" in the sand with her finger - in celebration of the New Year.
The mum-of-two then runs back towards the camera smiling.
The video does not have any music - but background breeze can be heard.

It is thought that the clip, which was shared to Meghan's 112,00 followers, could be a teaser for a new project.
It is the only post currently on her feed.
Meghan's return to Instagram follows a deleted post on the app showing Prince Harry and son Archie together at a surf school.
The picture was posted by professional surfer Raimana Van Bastolaer as part of a reel - but later deleted.
The caption read: "Don't hate but be happy & keep smiling. Brother HARRY, Let's go for 2025!"
