The ‘unreal’ tights fashion fans are buying by the case to get bronzed legs WITHOUT fake tan
MILLIONS of women swear by using fake tan to get bronzed legs for the summer.
But for those who always up end with patchy, orange streaks when using a tan in a bottle, there's an alternative that's got people racing to their local high street.
The popularity of the budget buy was clear to see after air stewardess Georgie took to TikTok to ask for suggestions on which tights to buy for a "nude but fake tan kind of colour", that she could wear for work.
"Where are we buying the bronze glossy tights?!" Georgie captioned her video.
The comments section of the TikTok was immediately flooded with people offering their product recommendations, and there was one that came up time and time again.
"Primark caramel glossy are my favourite in summer," one person wrote.

"Have you tried Primark caramel but in GLOSSY?" another added.
"The ‘shiny’ ones are much much paler than glossy despite being the same colour!"
"Primark glossy and Tesco glossy in the darker tan shades," a third said.
"Primark caramel or bronze in glossy only!!" someone else wrote.
"It’s like the hunger games but primark glossy in Caramel," another added.
"Primark caramel glossy! Pack of 5, 15 denier. They’re my go to!!" someone else agreed.
"Primark caramel glossy all the way," another grinned.
"Primark glossy tights!!! Shade caramel or they have shade bronze!" someone else wrote.
"Unreal tights - I always buy lots of boxes when I go."
"Omg thank you," Georgie replied.
"I need to stock up for summer!"
The 10 denier tights come in a pack of five for £5, and also come in the shades black and sand.

Superdrug Solait Self Tan Mousse Medium - £4.79 (was £5.99) - Buy Now
- Tester: Abby Wilson, Senior Fabulous Digital Writer
- Review: "This product give a very natural looking tan and if you wanted something a bit bolder, I'd suggest leaving it on longer or choosing a darker shade. I’m impressed with the results, but now my entire room stinks of the stuff. If you’re on a budget and want a tan for last-minute plans, I would say this is one to try. "
bBold Dream Mousse Tan in Dark - £9.50 - Buy Now
- Tester: Josie O’Brien, Senior Fabulous Digital Writer
- Review: "The first thing that hit me about this tan was the “juicy watermelon” scent - it’s delicious. I was left with a natural bronze hue rather than orange glow. My only qualm is that the tan seemed to stick to my dry patches and accentuated ‘strawberry skin’ on my legs. I’m still adding this tan to my arsenal though - the smell, colour and texture are dreamy."
St Moriz Professional Medium Tanning Mousse - £4.99 - Buy Now
- Tester: Kate Kulniece, Fabulous Writer
- Review: "Not only does St. Moriz mousse leave you with a gorgeous bronzed glow, but it also smells fabulous - think Piña Colada on a sunny beach. At first, I was a little bit sceptical cause I’m a gradual fake tan girlie, but this quick developing St. Moriz number may change it all."
There were some other suggestions in the comments section too - but all of them were a lot more expensive options.
"Capezio. Taylor and Sabrina wear them," one wrote.
"Try Snag tights - they do a variety of colours suitable," another added.
"M&S in shade rich amber! Thank me later! (Airport ground crew)," a third commented.
"Calzedonia ‘40 denier sheer tights’ are amazing!" someone else wrote.
