Nearly 450 props and costumes from The Crown to fetch thousands at auction
NEARLY 450 props and costumes from hit Netflix series The Crown are tipped to fetch hundreds of thousands of pounds at an auction.
The sale includes Princess Di’s blue engagement outfit — worn by actress Emma Corrin.
Other outfits include the 'revenge' dress, which the show's version of the late Princess of Wales sported as her husband, the now King Charles, confessed to adultery.
The replica of the iconic cocktail dress is expected to fetch £12,000.
The Netflix drama's recreation of Princess Margaret's wedding dress is also up for grabs.
The Queen's coronation robes, as seen in the first series of the Netflix drama, will also go on auction.

The props include a full-scale reproduction of the Gold State Coach, which has an estimate of £50,000.
Proceeds from the auction at Bonhams, London in February will help set up a Crown scholarship programme.
It comes after the show aired the first half of its sixth and final series.
