I went 93 days without washing my hair – trolls say it’s disgusting and can’t believe what fell out of her locks

A WOMAN has gone months without washing her hair.

Kilah Reigan took to social media to reveal she hadn't washed her hair in over 93 days - but many said it was time to.

In the clip, Kilah revealed she was testing different hairstyles which allowed her to not wash her hair as frequently.

Plenty of people have jumped on the trend of not washing their hair - claiming the natural oils produced by the scalp were enough to keep clean.

However, hairstylists have revealed this isn't true, some have stated it can cause a whole host of problems such as an itchy and tender scalp.

Healthline also states that it can stop your hair from growing as quicklly.

But Kilah was trying the method herself and in a clip posted to TikTok she revealed her curly hair.

At close inspection you can visibly see a build up of dry skin near the roots of her hair.

But as she was brushing it out she was horrified to see a bug that had made a home in her locks.

"This fell out my hair, what is this?" she asked.

"Nah fr what is that," she captioned the clip.

She filmed a close up of the bug and it was clear to see it was a small moth that had died leaving many viewers grossed out.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @kilahreigan soon went viral with over 15million views and over 600k likes.

The post was inundated with thousands of comments with plenty of people horrified by the moth.

One person wrote: "It was a moth..A MOTH."

Another commented: "I will literally PAY to see this girl wash her hair."

"This is making ME wanna wash my hair… Oml my head feels all itchy watching this," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "The dead moth is a sign you should wash your hair. Imagine the fresh feeling of washing the hair after not washing it for so long though."

"WASH YOUR HAIR THERE IS PROLLY A MICRO ECOSYSTEM IN YOUR HAIR,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: "My scalp is itching just by looking at that…"
