Morrisons brings back discontinued cult chocolate bar to meal deal after it was axed three years ago
MORRISONS has quietly added a cult chocolate bar to its meal deal after the sweet snack was discontinued three years ago.
One of the UK's biggest supermarkets has boosted its £4 Food to Go offer with the arrival of Milky Way Crispy Rolls.
The Food to Go deal lets shoppers buy a main, side and drink for £4 when shopping in-store or online.
Morrisons wouldn't confirm when the Milky Way Crispy Rolls, which class as a side, were added to the offer.
It said the chocolate bar, as well as new Twix Crispy Rolls and Bounty Crispy Rolls, were a permanent addition to the Food to Go deal.
Shoppers can also buy three bars individually, subject to availability, for 75p each.

Milky Way Crispy Rolls started reappearing on shelves earlier this year after being discontinued in 2022.
Iceland was the first supermarket to confirm it would be bringing the cult chocolate bar back, for a two-week period.
Shoppers could snap up the Milky Way bar as well as Twix and Bounty crispy rolls.
Tesco then said it would start stocking Milky Way Crispy Rolls in its smaller Express stores.
Shoppers have also spotted them in Poundland and Home Bargains stores while we saw them on Co-op's website today.
If you do have a Tesco Express or Co-op store near you, both retailers are selling the chocolate for 45p each - 30p cheaper than Morrisons.
News the Milky Way Crispy Rolls have made a comeback has been met with pure joy by shoppers on social media in recent weeks.
One on Facebook said: "Thank god crispy rolls are back."
Another said: "YAAAAAAS! Frickin' love Milky Way Crispy Rolls!"
And a third added: "Love this yay."
DISCONTINUED CHOCOLATES MAKING A COMEBACK
Retailer B&M sparked excitement among chocaholics last year after bringing back Cadbury Fuse Mini Treats.
Sweet-toothed customers were quick to post the find on Facebook after realising it was a rehash of the full bar sold in the mid-2000s.
In July, Nestle brought back the iconic Caramac bar in three forms after axing the chocolate the previous November.
The chocolatier said it had taken the "difficult decision" to drop the sweet snack due to low sales.
But that didn't stop shoppers mourning the caramel-flavoured bars disappearance, with one branding it a "bl**dy travesty".
Also in 2024, Cadbury confirmed it had brought back a "yummy" 90s chocolate bar after giving it a makeover.

One of the nation's favourite chocolate brands announced it would relaunch its Top Deck bar across the UK.
Cadbury said the the much-loved bar, which first launched in 1993, would only be returning to shelves for a limited time though.
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
