I’ve found the perfect party dress from Tesco – it’s sparkly, stretchy, has a cute bow and rivals the viral H&M number
A FASHION fan has revealed that she’s found the perfect dress for the festive season – and it’s a bargain buy from a supermarket.
Lifestyle influencer Alana Thomson got her hands on Tesco’s dark pink sequin number that comes with a cute little black bow at the back.
And when she got it home to try on Alana, who can be found on TikTok at @alana_thomson_, said Tesco had nailed the design and that she thought others deserved to know about it too.
In her glowing review, the fashionista, who is based in Glasgow, said that not only did it have some stretch, but it was also a steal at just £29.50.
The social media user explained: “It’s the dress we have all been waiting for.
“F&F clothing did not disappoint us ladies.”

Alana then recorded a video for the 46.4k followers, as she modelled the dress – which is also available in navy – and pointed out everything she loved about it.
She said: “Right guys, I’m going to do a try-on of this little cute dress from Tesco.
“I’m actually shocked that this hasn’t gone viral on TikTok or sold out yet because it’s got the cutest little bow on the back.”
Next time Alana was on camera, she had the dress on and gave a twirl.
“First of all, she’s got a little bit of stretch in there,” she continued as she demonstrated that she had plenty of room around the waist and middle – ideal for the festive season when we’re all eating and drinking.
She added that another major plus point of the dress is its black lining, which ensures it’s not see-through and also provides another level of comfort.
However Alana said that there was one thing that everyone needed to know – and it involved the bow at the back of the dress.
“The only thing I’m thinking is, ‘how am I going to tie this myself?’” she asked as she spun around to show the loose bow on her back that she couldn’t quite reach.
Luckily, Alana quickly found a solution, as she went on to share her top tip with her followers.

She said: “Word of advice, don’t be stupid like me and try and tie it when you’ve already got it on.
“Basically, you just need to tie it in a bow and then pull over your head – that just makes so much more sense.”
She completed her look with some statement jewellery, including hoop earrings, a pair of pink stilettos and a black clutch.
And it didn’t take long for fellow fashion fans to go wild over the look, as they told Alana they’d be following in her footsteps and snapping up the bargain buy too.
