‘I’d scoff all of that’ people say as bargain hunter nabs epic Morrisons yellow-sticker haul with treats from 15p

A FOOD fan has shared their huge haul of reduced treats, leaving many open-mouthed.

So if you’ve got a sweet tooth and fancy getting your hands on some bargain buys - you’ll need to listen up (and then sprint to your nearest Morrisons).

One savvy shopper was left stunned when browsing the shelves in their local Morrisons, when they spotted that a variety of sweet treats, including custard tarts, cakes and cookies, had been slashed.

The anonymous person then took to social media to alert other shoppers, leaving many stunned.

Posting on Yellow Sticker Society, a private Facebook group with a staggering 202,500 members, the shopper shared snaps of their haul and penned: “I think the large chocolate cream cake was the bargain of the day.”

Thanks to yellow sticker items in Morrisons, this lucky shopper nabbed a huge haul of cheap buys, including a pack of two cream, strawberry and custard tarts.

While the strawberry tarts were originally priced at £2.09 a pack, this shopper was able to nab the treats for just 32p, saving £1.77. 

Not only this, but the shopper was particularly impressed with the large fresh cream chocolate sponge cake, from Morrisons’ ‘Cake Shop’.

The chocolate cake was once £5.10, but had since been slashed down to just 77p, saving a whopping £4.33. 

Not only this, but if you’re a fan of cookies, you’ll be shocked at this reduction, as this shopper nabbed a pack of white chocolate chip cookies, which were once £1.29, but had then been reduced to only 20p, with a saving of £1.09.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Morrisons shopper also managed to get a pack of caramel topped yum yums, which were once £1, but had then been marked down to a mere 15p, leaving this shopper with an extra 85p.

In total, this haul of goodies cost this Morrisons lover just £1.44.

Not only did this shopper leave with a bag of cheap treats, but they also saved a staggering £8.04 too.

The post has clearly left many very impressed, as shoppers were quick to express this in the comments. 

One person said: “Right place, right time .. fabulous.” 

Another added: “B****r the diabetes, I’d be scoffing that lot.”

A third commented: “My kind of bargains!” 

Whilst someone else penned: “I'm on my way, I have a sweet tooth. Well done.” 

At the same time, another bargain hunter explained: “I love getting the Morrisons' bargains, especially the chocolate sponge cake and fresh lemon/cherry/vanilla muffins!”
