I had the most embarrassing moment giving birth – I wish I’d pooped myself, that would have been better

A NEW mother's embarrassing birth moment created a memory that was almost as painful as labor.

After giving birth to her son, the woman's body betrayed her in the most awkward way possible.

Lin (@linsmakeuplooks) recalled the awkward encounter in her video, joking that her family would warn her not to share the story online.

"This is one of those times where my family is going to text me and say I shouldn’t talk about stuff like this online but oh well," the TikToker said.

Lin explained that her nurses allowed her to eat when she went in to get induced.

"They let me eat pizza and boneless wings, which was awesome at the time because I was starving but it came back to haunt me and not in the way you think," she told her followers.

Lin shared that she was worried about pushing more than just her baby out during labor.

"I was terrified that I was going to poop when I was pushing my baby out and my mom and my fiancé swear up and down that I didn’t," she said.

However, Lin revealed that she did fart while she was giving birth to her son.

"I had a really strong epidural so I could not feel or control a thing down below, which I was grateful for but also, as soon as the epidural hit it was nonstop farting," she explained.

She joked that this led to "one of the most embarrassing moments of my life."

Lin explained that the birth was "kind of traumatic" and she hadn't got to see her son properly due to his initial difficulty breathing.

"He was across the room being taken care of by doctors and I had barely seen him whatsoever," she told viewers.

"So as I’m getting stitched up down there, I’m listening intently to hear my baby or what’s going on."

Lin described feeling tense due to her worry and the discomfort of getting stitches.

It was at this moment that she heard a "super loud ripping noise."

"I don’t know why but my mind told me that my muscle ripped so I asked, ‘What is that noise?’" she said.

"The doctor said, ‘Oh, well I think you just passed some gas.’"

Lin recalled her immediate shift from concern to embarrassment as the doctor continued stitching her up.

"I was terrified thinking something went extremely wrong and the doctor had to inform me that it was, in fact, me farting," she said.

Lin poked fun at the situation, explaining that she had no idea how to respond.

"What the f**k do you say after that? ‘Oh, my bad, queen?’" she asked her followers.

"Literally face to face with my ass, that was humiliating and I almost wish that I had just pooped myself instead."

Her followers shared their own awkward experiences in the comments section.

"Labor and delivery nurse here, when I tell you EVERYONE farts and queefs after their epidural. It doesn’t phase any of us at all," wrote one viewer.

"I farted during a cervical check and my nurse could tell that I was embarrassed so she said 'That was my fault sweetie, I was pressing too hard,'" said another TikTok user.

"I farted so much too, I couldn’t feel them coming out at all," commented a third person.
