However, if you prefer to go to a nail shop every other week for your nail fix, then best keep reading, as one employee has listed the common styles she cannot stand one bit.

According to the beauty whizz named Fee, from the Netherlands, there are few common trends she will frown upon, and the so-called duck nails is just one of them.

Although the design, complete with a very wide top, used to be all the rage around the early 2000s, Fee was certainly not a big fan of the square look.

Another request she'd rather you didn't ask for is the bubblegum trend, which comes with a rather chunky and almost sphere-like appearance.

If you ever were to barge in and tell Fee you wanted to get this trend, be sure to expect the nail whizz rolling her eyes, she shared in the now-viral video.

A little extra element, such as a cute gem or a charm, can go a long way, making for a more fun look - however, Fee advised to best not go overboard.

Those who end up with dozens of charms all over the nails, especially in bright colours, are sure to get a side eye from Fee.

It seems that the Dutch pro is a big fan of more classic and plain designs, as another trend that had ended up on the ''hate'' list was a curved manicure, as well as sharp, pointy stiletto nails.

Whilst you can never go wrong with a chic French manicure, Fee also warned that the lenght and shape is everything - and you want steer clear of straight tips as much as possible.

Last but certainly not least, the beauty whizz, who posts under the username @feeacrylics, urged to ditch the so-called lipstick nails - a relatively new trend which a slanted tip that resembles a new lippy.

''I love that design!! I just think the shape is quite unpractical,'' she explained.

Has your favourite design ended up on the list? Well, too bad, as Fee revealed she couldn't care any less.

''Sorry not sorry,'' she went on in the caption.

Luckily for her though, it seems that most viewers appeared to share the same opinion, as one wanted to know: ''NAH WHO EVEN THOUGHT BUBBLE GUM AND DUCK NAILS WAS A CUTE IDEA LIKE WHAT.''

Another agreed, writing totally baffled: ''i just knew duck nails was gonna be the first one bc why are they a thing.''

''Short stilettos are functional and cute,'' a third reckoned.

''Too many charms is cute for some styles,'' someone else hit back at Fee.
