Midwife reveals 14 craziest things baby daddies say & do during childbirth & to start, don’t ask if ‘it hurts that much’
A LABOUR nurse has revealed the 14 craziest things she has seen baby daddies say and do during childbirth.
From asking ‘does it really hurt that bad?’ to moaning about how long the labour is taking, Anna, who is known online as ‘Anna the Nurse’ explained that baby daddies have left her in total shock on many different occasions, with their odd and rude comments.
Anna is a nurse who primarily deals with pregnancy and labour and she recently went viral on social media as she revealed the things men have said in the delivery room.
Posting online, Anna shared a video and said: “You see and hear some crazy things working in labour and delivery. Feel free to share your shocking stories.”
She then revealed: “Shocking things dads have said during childbirth.”
Anna first shared that she has heard baby daddies ask: “Does it really hurt THAT bad?”

Not only this, but she’s also heard men comment on their partner’s vagina, as she claimed that they have previously said: “That’s never going to look the same again.”
If that wasn’t bad enough, Anna claimed that even when some women are in “stirrups and pushing”, she revealed that some men have said: “So how do we go about getting a paternity test?”
And when nurses suggest pain relief, Anna revealed that some men have said: “No, no, no! She doesn’t need anything for pain.”
Anna also shared that some men have asked her: “When do you think she’ll have the baby? Because I’m really hungry and need to go grab some food.”
Not only this, but Anna also claimed that some men have questioned: “Why is it taking so long?!”
The medical pro also claimed that she often spots men yawning and moaning during childbirth, as she claimed that she has heard men say: “My back hurts so much from sleeping on that chair.”
And if you thought that wasn’t acceptable, Anna then claimed that some baby daddies have even had the nerve to ask their partner: “Are you really trying your hardest?”
But Anna also shared that not all dads are vocal in the delivery room, as she explained that there’s also “the dad who literally doesn’t even talk” and is too busy on his phone.
Although there’s quiet dads, there’s also dads who complain, as Anna claimed that she has previously heard baby daddies say: “Can you be a little more quiet? You’re being too loud.”
But according to Anna, things get worse, as she’s also heard baby daddies say to their pregnant partners: “I can’t hold your hand right now, I need to take this call. I’ll be right back.”
And it’s not just dads on the phone either, as Anna said that some dads have refused to help out during the birth of their child, as she claimed they have previously said: “I’m not going to hold her leg.”
When their partner has given birth and is getting stitched up, Anna claimed that some men have even joked: “Can you put in an extra stitch for me?”
Finally, Anna said that during labour, some baby daddies have expressed: “It shouldn’t be that hard!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @anna.the.nurse, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it was shared just one day ago, but has quickly gone viral and has racked up a whopping 3.2 million views.
Social media users were open-mouthed at the things Anna has heard during labour and many took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “The divorce lawyer would be standing next to me within an hour.”
Another added: “I would rather be single.”
A third commented: “Red flags all around.”
