  • Jorginho & Partey contract update

Mikel Arteta has offered no guarantees that Thomas Partey and Jorginho will get new deals in the summer when their contracts expire.

    He said:

United are open to letting Zirkzee leave on loan with an obligation to buy, but Juventus are currently insisting on a dry loan or an option to purchase.

"We left the decision on his future path up to Josh and he has decided to take up a fresh start with York which we completely understand."

  • Man City enter race for Lens centre-back

Manchester City have entered the race for Lens centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov, according to The Telegraph.

Reports have previously linked Tottenham and Newcastle with the 20-year-old, who moved to Ligue 1 from Belarus 18 months ago.

City have been struggling with injuries at the centre-back position this season and are said to be looking at bolstering their squad in January.

  • Salah: "It's my last year at Liverpool"

Mohamed Salah gave yet another message that this is his final season at Anfield.

In an interview with Sky Sports ahead of the clash with Manchester United on Sunday, he discussed his pre-season goals for the 2024-25 campaign.

Salah said: “The first thing that was on the list was to win the Premier League with Liverpool.

“In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I’m saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.

“Probably because we didn’t celebrate the one we won the way we wanted [due to Covid].

“And also because it’s my last year at the club, you want to do something special for the city. That was the thing in my head.”

Pressed on his comments, Salah added: “So far, yes. It’s the last six months.

“There is no progress there. We are far away from any progress. So, we just need to wait and see.”

Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign stopper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague.

The 21-year-old will fly into London today and have a medical tonight.

It comes after several high profile howlers from stand-in Fraser Forster, who is currently filling in for the injured No.1 Guglielmo Vicario.

  • Matheus Cunha to sign a new deal with Wolves?

Cunha has two-and-a-half years remaining on his Molineux contract but tying him down to a longer deal would be a major boost for Wolves as they bid to avoid relegation.

The Brazilian, who has 10 goals in 18 Premier League games so far this season, has been linked with a January move to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta admitted on Friday his team is open to January signings but his focus is on the players they currently have.

Cunha has been slapped with a two-game ban following an ugly spat with a member of Ipswich's staff after full-time of their defeat to the Tractor Boys on December 14.

The 25-year-old will miss Wolves' league game with Nottingham Forest on Monday as well as the FA Cup third-round trip to Bristol City next Saturday.

He has also been charged 80,000 by the FA for acting in an "improper manner".

  • 'Reason behind Garnacho's Man Utd axing revealed'

Alejandro Garnacho was dropped from the Manchester United squad for a show of dissent towards Ruben Amorim, according to The Mail.

Garnacho was dropped along with Marcus Rashford for last month's Manchester derby win at the Etihad.

The 20-year-old has since returned to the squad, but has only been used as a substitute.

The Argentina international's alleged misstep came in the comeback win at Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, just three days before the derby win.

The report says Garnacho appeared to turn his back on Amorim while receiving instructions before walking away.

Representatives of the forward, the report adds, have put it down to a misunderstanding.

  • Doak and Dagger

Crystal Palace have made a £15million bid for Liverpool starlet Ben Doak.

The 19-year-old winger is currently on loan at Middlesbrough from the Premier League leaders.

SunSport previously revealed that Doak is keen on returning to Liverpool when his time at Boro ends.

But Palace are keen admirers and he is open to leaving his parent club should he not get a chance at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Arne Slot's side are interested in Palace captain Marc Guehi and it was thought that the Eagles may try to poach Doak as part of a potential deal.

  • Ell of a player

Liverpool are tracking one of the Premier League’s rising stars in Elliot Anderson.

The league-leaders have sent chiefs to watch the midfielder’s last six games and the Nottingham Forest ace has been earning rave reviews from their scouts.

Forest, who are enjoying a brilliant season, signed the 22-year-old from Newcastle in the summer and are under no pressure to sell the midfielder.

But Liverpool have now identified the player as a target and will want to be at the front of the queue if he becomes available at the end of the season.

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race for Lens' defender Abdukodir Khusanov.

  • Amorim confirms Man Utd WILL splash the cash

Ruben Amorim has been given the green light to make signings this month — with Victor Osimhen on his Manchester United hitlist.

The troubled Red Devils boss fears a relegation battle and is desperate for more firepower.

Amorim previously suggested United would have a quiet January window as they try to avoid breaching the Prem’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

But he said: “We will try to do something. I will keep the plan to myself.”

SunSport revealed yesterday that Marcus Rashford is at the centre of a £60million swap deal involving Napoli striker Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray.

  • Liverpool eye shock Anderson move

The Reds are tracking one of the Premier League’s rising stars in Elliot Anderson.

Anderson’s switch from Newcastle to Forest for a reported £35m took many by surprise.

But he was determined to move to the City Ground where he was promised regular first-team action amid the Toon's need to sell a homegrown player due to Profit and Sustainability Rules.

And he’s grabbed the opportunity and become a key part in Forest’s remarkable first-half of the season.

  • Kepa desperate for permanent move

Kepa Arrizabalaga wants to make his loan move to Bournemouth a permanent one.

The world’s most expensive goalkeeper is on loan at Cherries from Chelsea until the end of the season.

The Spaniard is thriving as Andoni Iraola’s side chase European football next season.

The Prem’s smallest club are just a point behind Manchester City in seventh.

But they have conceded three fewer goals with Kepa between the sticks.

Kepa, 30, had offers from Saudi Arabia last summer but moved to the south coast instead when Andoni offered a 12-month deal.

He signed a one-year contract extension before leaving and Chelsea are happy he is playing well because it is bumping up his transfer value.

Even so, Bournemouth could not afford much more than £20m for a player who cost Blues £71.6million six years ago.

Kepa knows he has no future at Chelsea.

However, he rejected offers to go to Saudi for more money in order to prove himself in the Premier League.
