I know I’m a lazy mum but didn’t realise how bad I was until people saw my kid’s car seat – I had to throw it in the bin
A SELF-TITLED 'lazy mum' was left stunned by just how bad her cleaning was after spotting mould growing in her kid's car seat.
Amanda Rose from the US took to social media to show the state of the car seat and buggy as she hoped she could save it from going to landfill.
"My baby has been sitting in mould," she began.
"I had absolutely no idea until I looked at her car seat and I saw little black spots."
The back of the car seat had mildew and specks of green mould all over - and in the crevice of the car seat where her daughter sits was also bright green with mould.
The stay-at-home-mum who confessed to hating cleaning previously claimed she was a 'lazy mum' saying “Here’s another morning of my lazy mum's life, I wake up to my house looking like this every single morning," as she attempted to clean her kitchen.

Amanda decided to also check the pushchair that was stored in her garage that hadn't been used in months - and the mould was even worse.
The mum-of-two decided to clean them both down - first using a mould killer and Scrub Daddy to get rid of the chucks of mould.
"Oh my God, where's CPS?" she said insinuating she knew what trolls would say about the mould.
"There was so much mould on this thing, every new area that I would look in there was mould," she added as she cleaned the pram.
Amanda added that she thought the mould and mildew was bad because of the rainy climate she lives in.
"Unfortunately I wasn't able to get everything," she said.
"Since there was an excessive amount of mould, I will not be using the stroller and I also bought a new car seat."
Although Amanda decided to throw the two items out people were left horrified by the state of them.
The clip posted to her TikTok account @amanduhh_ went viral with over 1million views and 97k likes and people took to the comments in droves to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: "No this is actually wild."
Another commented: "“My baby has been sitting in MOULD”….yeah I’m over it. At this point what is CPS even doing?"
"I understand that things get messy and dirty…. But your child DESERVES clean things, and that’s the parents responsibility," penned a third.
"Of course! Which is why I got rid of it and bought new things," Amanda replied.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "My jaw is on the floor."
"You started the video saying your child was sitting in mould?” claimed a fifth.
