Unlike other game shows, there’s no need to swot up on general knowledge, history, sport or other pub quiz staples, because the key to winning is common sense and logic.
It starts with a question 90 per cent of the public answered correctly, and works up to the final round, where just one per cent of the polled group got it right.
The show, which averaged 4.5million viewers last series, regularly sparks squabbles in living rooms across the nation - and presenter Lee couldn’t be happier about that.
He says: “Once again I am delighted to cause household arguments, as kids mock their parents for being not as bright as them.
“But us grown-ups can stay out as late as we want, so we get the last laugh.”
Ahead of The 1% Club's returnon Saturday, programme-makers Magnum Media have shared a special quiz for The Sun's readers to sharpen their skills.
So grab a pen and paper and set a 30-second timer for each question.
Jot down your answers and check to see if you're smarter than your family, friends... and the majority of the nation.
