Kerry Katona heartbroken as she reveals friend’s shock death – saying ‘rest in peace beautiful angel’
KERRY Katona has revealed that she is heartbroken, following the death of one of her closest friends.
The mother of five paid tribute to a woman named Lauren, after revealing that she recently succumbed to an unspecified illness.
Reminiscing about all their fun times together, Kerry, 43, warned people to make the most of precious time.
She said: “This brave, beautiful mother, wife, daughter, sister and the strongest person I’ve ever known, lost her fight far too young. She fought for the last two years soo hard and was so determined to make it to 2024 and she did. So many funny and amazing memories we have shared over the years since she was a young girl.”

And Kerry revealed how one of their favorite pastimes was spent chuckling away to the Richard Curtis classic, Love Actually.
She said: “I’ll never forget laughing our arse off watching Love Actually to Hugh Grant dancing. WE must’ve watched it 1000 times. We love you so much and we’re going to miss you so much Lauren. Rest in peace beautiful angel. Don’t take life for granted people.’
But while she maybe urging people to make the most of life, Kerry also seems determined to turn back the clock, after she admitted to having an eyelift to make herself look younger.
Speaking ahead of her surgery, Kerry confessed that she was fed up with her drooping eyelids.
She said: "Right so I've come to the conclusion I'm going to get an eye lift. I am, watch this.
"They're so heavy they're hanging over my eyes. Why not, I'm 43, I'm entitled."
But later, writing in her magazine column, she told how the procedure left her in a huge amount of pain.
"When I was coming out of surgery I didn't know what I was doing and rubbed my eye and scratched the cornea.
"I've been crying all day because of the pain.
"I've scratched it all on the nerve endings, which my doctor said is 'almost more painful than childbirth' when that happens - and it has been. I've been complaining so much."
