I’ve stopped shopping at Morrisons – it’s overpriced & staff are rude, I go to Tesco or M&S now, they don’t let me down

A WOMAN has slammed Morrisons for being overpriced, having flavourless food and for the staff having an "attitude".

Gab Dawson shared her fury via a video posted to her TikTok channel, @whatgabdid where she has previously posted videos about her hatred of budget supermarket Aldi.

In the video, the TikToker said: "If there was one supermarket I could get rid of it would be Morrisons".

Gab explained that she had a terrible experience in the store, after visiting to grab some pasta from the pasta bar.

The TikToker said she remembered the pasta being good quality, but realised how wrong she was when she went to try it.

Gab said that the food all tasted the same and was flavourless, and she ended up not eating most of it and having a sausage roll for dinner instead.

The TikToker's second issue with the shop was that she found the staff to be rude.

Gab said that she asked a woman who was putting reduced stickers on sausage rolls if she could grab a packet, and said the woman said no, moved the stickers away from her and then wouldn't let her get anything.

She said: "Honey, I'm not gonna rob you, I just want some sausage rolls so I can get the hell out of here."

The TikToker said that she waited 15 minutes to get her hands on the sausage rolls but added that she was happy they'd been reduced to 57p.

She added that the rest of the food she spotted seemed expensive and then shared a clip of the bins outside the supermarket, which were overflowing, with litter blowing all over the supermarket.

Gabs said: "The attitude the staff had towards me let me down, and that just adds to the reason I stick to M&S and Tesco".

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts on Gab's experience.

One user said: "I stopped going to Morrisons when the staff chased me out shouting and searched my bag for no reason and didn’t even say sorry or explain".

Another user added: "I got a meal deal from Morrisons and thought the snack tasted funny. It was two weeks out of date".

Of course, this is just one customers experience at one Morrisons store. There are 1,693 Morrisons stores in the UK.

According to Statista data, 36 per cent of UK grocery store customers surveryed say they like Morrisons.
