His heartfelt message came just hours after Kate said her diagnosis had come as a "huge shock" - but vowed: "I am well and getting stronger every day".
Kate informed the world about her shock diagnosis in a poignant video released at 6pm on Friday.
In her address, she spoke about how the cancer was discovered and thanked her husband Prince William for his support.
She also said she had broken the news to her children; George, 10, Charlotte, 8, and five-year-old Louis - telling them she was going to be "OK".
The Princess of Wales said the cancer was found following her "major" abdominal surgery in January.
Initially, whatever was found was deemed "non-cancerous", but post-op tests found that cancer had been present.
She said: "My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.
"This of course came as a huge shock.
"William and I have been doing everything I can to process this privately for the sake of our young family.
"As you can imagine this has taken time. It has taken time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment."
Kate is the second person in the Royal Family to be diagnosed with cancer in 2024, after King Charles revealed he was also undergoing treatment in February.
