HALLMARK star Mamie Laverock is on life support after falling from a fifth-story balcony just two weeks after she was hospitalized with a medical emergency.
The 19-year-old actress was initially hospitalized in Winnipeg on May 11 for an undisclosed condition and was later transported to a hospital in Vancouver.
Mamie fell five stories on Sunday after she was transported within the hospital out of a secure unit, her family wrote on a Go Fund Me page.
The fundraiser page now reports that Mamie's family said she is fighting for her life on life support.
Her family shared that Mamie sustained “life threatening injuries."
The fundraiser has raised over $12,000, which is $2,000 more than what their goal was.
Her family, who lives in Vancouver, wants to raise money so they can be with her daily during her hospital stay, which could last for a month or more.
Mamie is best known for playing Rosaleen Sullivan on the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart.
On May 11, Mamie's mom, Nicole Compton, traveled to Winnipeg, to help Mamie, who was having a medical emergency at the time.
Nicole was able to get to her daughter in time to save her life and got her admitted to a local hospital before transferring her to a hospital in Vancouver.
"Her recovery is unclear at this time but she is alive and is showing signs of improvement," Nicole and her step-father, Rob, wrote on her GoFundMe page.
'DEEPLY SADDENED'
After her medical emergency, Mamie seemed to be ok.
She posted about the Go Fund Me page on her Facebook on May 18.
A few hours later, the actress even shared throwback photos of her swimming with her sisters in Hawaii on April 28.
“Such a nice time together," she captioned the post.
However, one week after those posts, Mamie's family updated the Go Fund Me.

"She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.”
"We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time," her family ended.
