Darts star Gerwyn Price has claimed he has not enjoyed playing in the Premier League since 2018 - his first appearance at the tournament.
He said: "I haven't enjoyed the Premier League. I haven't enjoyed it since 2018 when I first played in it.
"But, that's the way it goes sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet and carry on.
"Now it's time to knuckle down and hit more of these events, the Pro Tours, the events that really matter and get some ranking points and hopefully get back into that top four."
The PDC has warned players about sneaking ALCOHOL into tournament venues.
The game's stars have been warned after some players were caught concealing alcohol in water bottles at Players Championship events - which are played behind closed doors.
The message sent to players read: "There has been an increase in the number of instances where players have been found to have brought alcohol into venues at floor events.
"This has been distinguished in water bottles and other containers.
"This is expressly forbidden and players have previously been notified that this is a breach of the Tournament Rules.
"The PDC have discussed this with the DRA and the PDPA and it has been decided that to deter such actions more robust sanctions are needed for players who are caught bringing alcohol into venues at events.
"The new approach is to issue incremental fines for such breaches."
