I’m a mum and refuse to gatekeep my best stain remover – it’s just £1.50 from Poundland & better than Vanish, I’m amazed
LAUNDRY can easily pile up, especially if you have stains on your washing that you’ve yet to tackle.
Rather than spending hours scrubbing or soaking your clothes, one cleaning whizz has shared her go-to-tool for getting rid of stains.
In fact, Sandy was so impressed with the bargain buy that she made an entire Tiktok video dedicated to the cleaning product.
Like many mums, she’d struggled to get stains out of her kids’ laundry until coming across the £1 product at Poundland.
Whilst most of us would be tempted to buy up every last one of the low-cost laundry cleaners, the influencer confessed that she would have guilty keeping it to herself.
“I’m not gonna gate keep it,” she joked, adding; “I don’t know if any knows about this or I’m just being stupid, but this stain remove is [better] than all of them.”

Showing the small stain remover to the camera, she revealed that she been using the Elbow Grease bar failing to get her daughter’s hoodie clean.
Packed with enzymes to eat away at stain without ruining your clothes, the powerful is great for pre-treating your washing and completely bleach free.
Beating other well-known brands, the Poundland product was able to break up gunk from a broken toy easily as Sandy explained.
“My kid’s top just got splattered with [one of] those squeezy toys and it went literally everywhere,” she told her followers.
“Literally Vanish didn’t get it out, Ace didn’t get it out but this bar that cost £1.50 from the pound shop got it all out,” she gushed, showing the newly cleaned Beauty and Beast jumper.
She even shared her fool-proof method for getting the best out of the product, even with minimal effort and scrubbing.
“I can’t believe it,” she excitedly told others, saying: “You just soak it, rub it on there, leave it and give a bit of [a scrub]…then it’s gone.”
It’s not surprising that the mum was obsessed with the Poundland product, with already planning to pick up more at her local discount store.
She joked: “I’m gonna go buy some more of these bars before they sell out.”
However, Sandy will have to be quick if she wants to bag more of these laundry bars as Poundland have already reduce the price.
Though the mum found hers for £1.50 at a local pound shop, the high street giant is currently selling the stain remover bars for just £1.00.
For those that are still struggling to get their laundry looking fresh, you can also add a little white vinegar to your next load to help remove any lingering stains.
Cleaning expert and influencer Caroline suggests using just half a cup of the household item to bring back the softness in your bed sheets.
