AFTER being off screens for a whopping two decades, iconic game show Wheel of Fortune is set to return to ITV in 2024.
The new series will be hosted by chat show host Graham Norton.
However, the format has not changed, and audiences will still be watching in suspense as contestants solve a word puzzle for the chance to rake in cash.
Every correct letter gets players the chance to earn a sum of money, but the amount is left to chance, only decided by the spin of a giant carnival wheel.
Three years ago ITV made a pilot for a reboot of This Morning presenter Alison Hammond at the helm, but last year it was confirmed she wouldn’t be taking on the role permanently.
Graham has shared how thrilled he is to take on the new role, saying: "I’m beyond excited to be bringing such an iconic American show to a new British audience.

"My first ever TV job was a game show on ITV so this feels like coming full circle. You might even call it a wheel!"
The new series is set to have six episodes, including two celebrity specials.
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, shared: "We are thrilled to have the much loved Graham Norton bringing this iconic game show to our viewers. Anything can happen on the spin of a wheel, it is going to be so much fun."
Sunil Patel, Whisper CEO, added: "We’re thrilled to be bringing such a well-known and globally loved show to ITV primetime, and of course, to be working with the incredible Graham Norton, who we know will bring the show alive for contestants and audiences alike."
Wheel of Fortune will be available to stream on ITV1 and ITVX starting Saturday, January 6 at 6pm.
