First look at Whitney Dean’s dramatic wedding to Zack Hudson ahead of Shona McGarty’s explosive exit

EASTENDERS fans have been given their first look at Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson’s upcoming wedding day.

In recent scenes, Whitney stunned her boyfriend when she proposed in front of the entire Queen Vic pub.

However, the expectant mother remains unaware her now-fiance cheated with her longtime pal Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).

While the pub patrons congratulated the happy couple, Lauren walked in and stormed right back out, looking less than impressed.

Meanwhile, Whitney’s adoptive mother Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer), who recently made a return to the BBC soap, knows the truth.

The shock affair began when Zack unravelled Whitney’s lies about buying Britney (Lola Campbell), a young girl they have been caring for, from her drug addict mother.

Demanding answers, Zack was stunned as Whitney’s deceit came to light.

Whitney refused to accept she’d done anything wrong and told Zack that if she was made to chose between him and Britney, he wouldn’t win.

Heartbroken, Zack left the house and ran into Lauren, who he questioned about her knowledge of Whitney’s secret but not telling him.

The pair bonded and planned to get the night bus to Hoxton, which Lauren said she used to get for a night out.

Before making it to the bus, they found themselves in an alleyway - and in a passionate embrace.

The storyline comes as Shona McGarty is soon set to leave the role of Whitney after 16 years.

She debuted on-screen for EastEnders during April 2008 and has remained in the show consistently since.

Before Zack, Whitney previously married Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard) and was engaged to Callum Highway (Tony Clay).
