The ‘hurt’ in the case against Trump is unclear

The Jan. 22 front-page article “Election case in Ga. hurt by claims” quoted an ally of the prosecutor in the election interference case against Donald Trump in Georgia as saying, “The evidence is strong. The case is powerful. It’s very likely to lead to conviction.”

The supposedly hurtful claims against the case and its widely respected prosecutors are that the prosecutors, Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade, might have had a lawful romantic relationship that possibly crossed some unspecified administrative standards unrelated to the case.
