In the clip posted to TikTok (@daniella_britt), she begins by saying: "Girls, if you have highlights or balayage, I'm going to drop a major secret that no hairdresser would ever tell you.

"This right here changes the game for even stylists like myself who have access to buy professional colour."

She then holds up a bottle of 'Vanilla ice hair glaze,' which can be bought for just £10.66 from the likes of Superdrug.

The online product description reads: "A new Semi-permanent conditioning gloss for babes with highlights and balayage.

"Enhances colour vibrancy, shine and deeply conditions for healthier feeling hair in one use."

Daniella, who says it lasts for between 10-12 washes, goes on to explain how it's a: "10 minute mask that completely transforms your hair.

"So if you have highlights or a balayage, after you get them done that you kind of get brassy after a while.

"I know I've done tutorials before on how to glaze your hair at home, but not a lot of people know what their formulation is, know what to mix - this makes it so much easier!"

Daniella can then be seen directly applying the product onto her damp hair.

Holding up her purple hands, she adds: "I know this looks messy - but it's not! I did my daughter's hair and it just washes straight off your hands when you're done.

I tried everything to fix my thin eyebrows - the struggle was real but I used a serum religiously they grew back

"Make sure you're applying it to damp hair and you're just going to take the pieces and you're just going to pull it through just like this."

She goes on to say that they do sell colours including reds, caramels blondes - so they have one for everyone.

After letting it sit for twenty minutes, she says you just simply rinse it out without shampooing.

Showing off the finished result, she enthuses: "Look how amazing this came out - grab it!"

The hair whizz captioned the post: "No more running to the salon to get a toner!!! Vanilla lights glaze changes the game!!!!"

The product has received much praise online, with one person writing: "Got rid of all my orange brassy tones and has made my hair, so smooth and shiny! Highly recommend."

A second commented: "It is quite messy!!! Was easy to apply and managed to get full coverage using about half bottle on medium length hair.

"Really good results on brunette balayage hair that toner had worn off so was quite brassy, tone improved a lot after application soo very happy as was going to re-dye it if not successful."
