Having dressed the likes of Beyonce, the London-based fashion expert knows her stuff when it comes to pairing underwear with overwear.

And M&S’ new lingerie, designed to smooth your curves and enhance your figure, is her go-to.

Dancing in the bodysuit and bra combo on Instagram, Karen said that, “2024 is the year we rise up, ladies”.

“Whatever you need to do to find your fabulous, do that,” she added.

“Here’s to more great M&S shapewear worn under more great outfits.”

The Body Define Firm Control Wear Your Own Bra Bodysuit is available in sizes 8 to 24.

“This figure-framing body makes a strong starting point when you're putting outfits together,” M&S designers said.

“Wear with your own bra.

“Finished with sheer striped inserts for a bold look.”

The £25 one-piece is available in nude or black.

Karen, whose style mantra is to “forget about age and size, work on vibes”, paired it with the £18 Wildblooms Wired Full Cup Bra.

The brassiere is available in multiple nudes to suit a variety of skin tones, as well as a pink version for when you’re feeling fun.

“This wired, full-cup, non-padded design gives you the shape you want and the support you need,” M&S bosses said.

“The floral-lace style is designed with added stretch for all-day comfort.”

Karen’s video sparked an influx of orders, including from over 50s style whizz Kazz O’Neill.

Johnnel Adderley noted that the shapewear “smooths the body out nicely”.
