Celeb Big Brother star Lauren Harries’ mum reveals huge health update after seven months in hospital and brain surgery
CELEBRITY Big Brother's Lauren Harries has been through a harrowing health battle, facing seven months in hospital and serious surgeries.
Her mum has now revealed the hopeful news that the 45-year-old reality star has been discharged by doctors in time for Christmas.
Lauren needed an emergency operation on her brain back in April, after being rushed to hospital when she experienced terrible headaches and blackouts.
The procedure was so serious that the CBB housemate had to be put in an induced coma afterwards to allow her body to recover.
Now glad tidings have come to the Harries family early.
Lauren's mum Katy took to X with the announcement, saying: "Update: Laurens out of hospital. It's been the most stressful 7 months of our families lives. But she's home in time for Christmas.

"Note from Lauren: 'It's wonderful not seeing the worry on my family's faces anymore, merry Christmas thank you to all of my stars for your love.'"
Followers flocked to the comments to congratulate the TV personality on her recovery.
One person wrote: "Brilliant news for you all. Hope you have a relaxing and lovely Christmas."
Another gushed: "Great news! Have a wonderful Christmas."
A third added: "Great to hear this, I hope things only get better for Lauren from now on."
After docs initially failed to cure Lauren with the operation on her brain, they discovered she had a split in her spine.
This necessitated two more high risk surgeries, resulting in her being in hospital for nearly a year.
