I have crazy flyaways but a celeb hair stylist taught me his underrated hack, you’ll have the product in your makeup bag
A FASHIONISTA constantly struggles with crazy flyways that won't go away but found the solution right in her makeup bag.
She said that she found out from a celebrity hairstylist about the helpful hack that is so underrated.
Brigette Pheloung (@acquired.style) loves to look her best from head to toe.
Nothing throws off her style more than messy flyaways that pop up unexpectedly, but after a hair expert taught her a simple trick to get rid of them, she had to spread the word.
"A celebrity hairstylist did my hair the other day and he taught me this hack for flyaways if you have crazy flyaways like me. I immediately was like 'I have to share this with you guys'." she said.
She demonstrated how easy her remedy was in an Instagram Reel.
When the video began, her hair was straight down her back, but visible stray hairs were poking into the air.
She took a big fluffy makeup brush in one hand and a medium-sized bottle of hairspray in another.
Next, she sprayed the beauty buy with hairspray and softly brushed down the flyaway standing up at the top of her head.
"Like are you kidding me!" she said with a shocked expression.
Brigette explained that the celeb stylist called it the best hack ever and said it was "so underrated," which she completely agreed with.
"And they stay down. That's the thing. They stay down," she added.
She wrote in the video caption that "everyone needs to try this," but not everyone was convinced that it had the desired effect.
"They literally did not stay down," a viewer commented.
"Did y’all see the strand of hair that flung itself back up?" another asked.
"Also, you can spray hairspray on the palms of your hands and rub them together and then apply it to flyaways," an Instagram user suggested.
There were still a select few who appreciated her advice.
"Omg, this is a game changer!!!" a woman said.
"You just changed my life," another added.
