‘Yes to Primark’ gush brides as they race to nab Six Stories sweatshirt dupe that’s £39 cheaper
EVERYONE knows the dress is the most important clothing purchase a bride will make for her wedding - but it's not the only one.
From the white hen do frock to 'bride' hoodies, there's always an excuse to fill your shopping basket.
And eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted a must-have item for brides in Primark.
The budget store has launched white 'bride' and matching cream 'team bride' sweatshirts for just £11 - perfect for hen dos and that honeymoon airport pic.
With 'bride' written in white stitching across the sweatshirt, it's almost identical to the original Six Stories version priced at £49.99 - but £39 cheaper.
Sharing a snap of the sweatshirts at the Braehead store near Glasgow, one bride gushed: "Bride and Team Bride sweatshirts in Primark Braehead."
Another spotted the cosy sweaters in Glasgow's Argyle Street branch.
And shoppers are in a frenzy over the wedding-themed clothing.
"Six Stories doooop", wrote one.
"Yes to Primark coming out with the cheap alternatives", gushed another.
A third wrote: "Ooohh these will be so popular. Might have to go and see if I can get a few."
Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Just seen this eeeek, me [running[ to Primark."
In other wedding news, a bridal shop has made the heartbreaking decision to close after 20 years with huge discounts launched on dresses.
Bliss Bridal Design on Dundee's Dudhope Street will close its doors for the final timeon March 31.
Staff announced the closure to customers in a post on social media this week.
The post on Facebook read: "Hi everyone, unfortunately Bliss Bridal will be closing its doors on March 31.
"We will be selling all our dresses, veils and other accessories at huge discounts.
"Looking forward to seeing anyone who is getting married and looking for some of these items.
"A big thank you to all our lovely customers past."
