Legendary 90s teen movie set for huge reunion sequel 25 years after rehab stints and DUI arrests
IT'S hilarious coming of age antics cemented it as a 90s classic.
And with four hit films featuring the original cast and a further five spin-offs raking in more than a billion dollars, it's been a financial hit too.
Now actress Tara Reid has teased another American Pie film could soon be in the works.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "There's so much talk about it. I mean, I just read something that about Seann [William Scott] saying that he's up for it and a lot of people want to do it. So I think we're just waiting on the studio. Actually, if they say yeah, we could do it.
"Every time we do a film with them, it's almost like you're going away for sleepaway camp. Everyone gets along really well and it's so much fun with each other. You never forget really who you start off with. So there's a really special bond between all of us on American Pie and that's always gonna be there, for sure."
Tara played pin-up Vicky Lathum in three American Pie films.

Viewers watched her high school romance with childhood sweetheart Kevin Myers come to an emotional end before they both went to university.
Love-struck Kevin was unable to move on from his first love and was determined to get her back over subsequent films.
However, in their final outing, American Pie: The Reunion, they ended up in bed together but didn't get up to mischief.
Instead, they accepted they were now just friends and Vicky was pleased that her former flame was happily married.
Members of the famous cast have made headlines off-screen over the years and not always for the right reasons.
Chris Klein, who played sports jock Chris Ostreicher, was arrested twice for driving under the influence in 2004 and 2010.
While Tara checked herself into a high-end rehab facility in 2008 for alcohol addiction after years of wild partying.
The Promises Treatment Center has also been used by Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
Tara called her time there "the greatest decision I ever made".
In an interview with Variety last year she reflected on her troubled career and insisted: "I never got arrested, never did a sex tape, never did anything really wrong except to have a good time."
