My date ate cat food and it wasn’t her only weird habit – I should have known based on the bizarre way I met her
A SINGLE man was physically disgusted when he learned that she ate food meant for pets, but that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Even though he thought she was a 10/10, he should have known something was up when he met her running from the police.
Former law enforcement officer Jeremy Foy (@jfoy_3.0) dubbed himself the CEO of Dating Nightmares based on his countless bad experiences.
He shared a story in a TikTok video about a woman named Catherine whose weird habits made him want to throw up.
Shopping at a Petco in Dallas, Texas, he heard screaming from a few aisles over.
Being a former cop, he walked over to see a woman being handled by two loss prevention officers.
They both reached into her pockets and started pulling out cat food and kitty treats.
Because she was a "10/10," according to Jeremy, he walked over and said she was his cousin Tiffany with special needs who didn't take her medication that day and offered to give the goods back.
"She plays into it. She's crying, She's kicking her feet. I grab her hand. They agree on this, and I take her out to my car," he explained.
He asked what was up with her and before she told her side of the story, she started snacking on something that smelled "f**king weird."
Jeremy drove her home after the incident, where they exchanged numbers and developed a talking stage relationship over the next few weeks.
For their first date, he took her to a "bada** restaurant," where she proceeded to order catfish and drink a glass of milk the entire time.
Because they didn't have catfish, she was probably pretty hungry by the time he took her home.
"She's crying in my seat licking her f**king hand, rubbing her face. She's crying telling me she's scared to go inside by herself, so I go inside with her," Jeremy said.
Once inside, he asked where her cats were and she replied that she didn't have any cats, which stumped him.
"In my head, I'm like, 'Why the fuck were you stealing cat food?'" he said.
Because he's "nosy," while she was in the bathroom, he started opening up her cabinets to see maybe 50 cans of cat food.
She then comes out of the bathroom, pops open a can, and starts to eat it.
The experience traumatized him so much that he couldn't help but gag a few times while he explained it.
That's when he thought she was what people call a furry, which is someone who dresses up like a cat.
Viewers were quick to correct him that she probably identified as something else, while others just chastised him.
