‘I’ve never needed money’ admits The Traitors’ winner Harry as he sparks fury after claiming ‘he’s strapped for cash’

THE Traitors champion Harry Clark has sparked fury after admitting he "never needed money."

The Army mechanic, 22, made a big play of securing the £95K cash for his "loved ones" - telling his BBC co-stars at the final dinner party he would use the money for a big night out for his parents and siblings.

Yet shortly after he scooped the cash, some fans swiftly called Harry out - after he was pictured flying in a private jet.

Now the Slough lad has again come under fire after his comments on The Traitors' spin-off show, Uncloaked.

He told host Ed Gamble: "I'm 23-years-old with that much money! I can’t even explain it. Money never makes me happy.

"I’ve never needed money. As long as I have a roof over my head, food, water, my family and my other half, that’s all I need."

He added: "That money is going to treat them, everything my mum and dad have done for me as kids, and they’ve given me everything I’ve needed, to be able to give them something in return is the best thing ever."

Yet during the final dinner he made a play for the cash improving his family's life - suggesting they did in fact need the money.

He said: "Mine is like a mad house because there are 11 or 12 of us. So when we go out for a family meal, it's not just us going out. You will hear us going out.

"But it would be the best thing to go home and that Saturday be like ''let's all go out, but at the end, no one has got to worry about paying. Just being able to go up and pay the bill firstly would be amazing, and then it just sets me up for my next chapter in life.

"I'm not saying I'm looking at getting out the army but I am sort of tired of travelling all the time."

Earlier today, Harry told how he had returned to his normal job just days after scooping the cash prize.

The BBC show favourite has also promised his BFF co-star Mollie Pearce a "holiday" - so will again be splashing the cash.

Fans branded Mollie "naive" on Friday as the last round table played out and she kept her loyalties to her friend.

The Traitors' second season came to its epic conclusion as Mollie chose to vote off Jaz rather than Harry, sealing his victory and earning him the £95,000 prize as he swiped the cash from under her nose.
