Amanda Holden charity challenge 2024 UPDATES: Follow the star’s five-day-ride as she cycles from Cornwall to London

  • Day 2 for Amanda - what surprise is in store?

Day two of Amanda Holden's Big Ride To Work starts in Taunton and will end in Frome, with the Heart Breakfast presenter cycling just shy of 50 miles today for up to seven hours.

While Amanda was fully rested and ready for another day back on her bike this morning, the weather forecast for the day is not looking good with heavy rain and storms predicted to make this leg even harder.

She will be getting a surprise at some point during today's journey, having been surprised by Sydnie Christmas yesterday during her gruelling challenge.

  • Here is the route in full ...

  • Why is Amanda doing the challenge?

    It's all for charity.

The challenge kicked off on Monday and will continue throughout the week as she peddles through Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey before reaching her destination on Friday – just in time for Global’s Make Some Noise Day.

  • 'Someone's just given me a tenner!'

While Amanda was live on air on Heart to give an update on her gruelling trek a passer-by handed her a £10 note.

The star told listeners: "Wow! Someone just gave me a tenner! ... Thank you ... thank you!"

The star’s Big Ride To Work will see her cycle from her mum's house all the way to the Heart studios over the course of five days, clocking up a gruelling six hours of cycling a day.
