Stacy (@authenticallystacy) filmed herself tidying the oven in a step-by-step video on TikTok.

"Don't you just hate when food spills in your oven? Well, here's a little hack that my mom showed me, and this makes cleanup quick and easy," she said.

The busy mom acknowledged the less-than-pristine state of her oven, sharing her tips on how to bring back the shine.

"I know my oven needs a deep clean, so please don't come for me in the comments," she said.

She removed the top and bottom racks from the oven, lifting up the baking coil and placing two sheets of foil underneath.

When spills occur, she simply throws out the foil once the oven has cooled down.

"Oven cleaning hack," she added. "My mom taught me this one. Let me know if you do this for easy clean up from spills."

Many cleaning whizzes and neat freaks took to the comment section to share their experiences.

"No my father in law did this and ruined his oven," one wrote. "The paint under peeled right off."

Others said that they look forward to testing out the cleaning hack themselves.

"I'm going to try this," two viewers wrote.

Other viewers had questions for Stacy's oven cleaning advice.

"But doesn’t the boiler get burned, causing the oven to get on fire?" one asked

"I’ve never had that issue," Stacy replied.
