One day left to bag £10 Baileys deals from two major supermarkets before bottles more than DOUBLE in price

CHRISTMAS has come early for those hoping to nab a bottle of Baileys for a bargain but shoppers will have to be quick before stock disappears from shelves.

Some supermarkets have reduced the festive drink by 40 per cent but the deal ends soon.

A host of giant in-store brand's have slashed the cost of the Irish Cream liqeur in the run-up to the December holiday, but you will want to take note as only a few have the best deal.

Tesco and Sainsbury's have generously offered their customers a money saving deal on the one litre bottle, but there is a catch.

Anyone heading to their local chain will need to make sure they have their club or nectar card as the reduced offer is only available to loyal members.

Savvy shoppers will also need to head down as soon as they can, with the deal at both sites ending tomorrow.

It may be best to phone up ahead first to avoid disappointment and check stock levels.

Do not fret if you cannot make it in time, as Morrisons has an even better price on offer until December 12.

Using your Morrisons More Card, which is free to sign up, the high-street supermarket brand has been spotted selling the same bottle for £8.50.

Although, as well as needing to be part of their loyalty scheme, customers will also need to spend a minimum of £45, which does not include the bottle itself.

Asda has also dropped the bottle from £22 to just £13.

Long associated as a festive tipple, the branded bottles boast how owners can choose to use the seventeen per cent alcohol any way they want.

Opting for an easy option, the distinct combination of Irish whiskey and smooth cream can simply be poured over ice.

Those in the mood for something more self-indulgent could look to use the ingredient when making hot chocolate, chocolate mousse or even iced coffee.

The 'number one selling Irish cream liquer' has even been awarded a gold medal at the Meininger's International Spirit Award, earlier this year.

Great for stocking fillers or winter evenings in with friends, the item has been known to cost up to £22, making it the best time to nab some for yourself.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents - buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you're not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead - if you've got the stamina and budget, it's worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you're not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales - some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores - you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
