I have naturally large pores – my Amazon find clears clogs and removes dead skin cells, it’s viral for a reason

A BEAUTY fan said larger pores don't have to keep anyone from having a clear face.

She said a skincare purchase from Amazon lives up to the hype, giving her a flawless complexion.

Lucy (@lucyisdewy) filmed herself demonstrating the power of the product in a viral video on TikTok.

"If you have naturally large, clogged pores like me — I have the perfect thing for you," she said.

She filmed a close up of her nose, a common area for blemishes — such as plugged pores — to form.

Lucy clearly had some congestion on the nose and on top of the nostrils.

Determined to demonstrate the power of her Amazon must-have, she applied it on-camera for eager viewers.

HOLY GRAIL

She took some pads from the product jar and covered her face with four of them, cutting one to fit the curvature of her features.

Lucy used the Medicube Zero Pore Pads 2.0, currently sold out on Amazon, but third party retailers are pricing it around $21.10.

After removing the pads and cleansing her face, her skin was visibly clearer.

"It's honestly viral for a reason," she added.

HOW IT WORKS

Medicube is a Korean skincare brand, which is a market that has swept beauty fans off their feet.

I've never really been an eye cream person but tried a $20 'superfood' gel

The product boasts a way to fine-tune even the most problematic skin types.

"Exfoliates and refines pores," the description reads.

"Perfect for those concerned about enlarged pores, seeking smoother skin, battling greasy skin from excess sebum, or troubled by blackheads and whiteheads."

INGREDIENTS WITH A REPUTATION

The Medicube Zero Pore Pads 2.0 contain White Willow Bark, Citric Acid, and "soothing botanical extracts."

White Willow Bark works similarly to aspirin, making it nature's potential remedy for troubled skin.

Dermatologist-approved anti-aging tips

Dermatologist Dr. Brendan Camp shared his dermatologist-approved tips with The U.S. Sun.

  • Stop using tanning beds.
  • Don't use sunscreen to contour your face.
  • Wear driving gloves to protect your hands from the sun. He likes Coolibar Gannett UV Gloves UPF 50+, $15.99 to $39.
  • Exercise, stick to a healthy diet, and get enough sleep.
  • Don't drink excessively or smoke.

In a 2010 study on White Willow Bark, it was found that it contained anti-inflammatory properties.

Soe of the benefits of incorporating it into a skincare routine could be anti-aging.

A 2018 study also classifies Citric Acid as a form of AHA, which may clear a host of issues on the body's largest organ.

"AHAs including glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, and citric acid are often used extensively in cosmetic formulations," the study reads.

"AHAs have been used as superficial peeling agents as well as to ameliorate the appearance of keratoses and acne in dermatology."
