‘It’s heaven’ praise Tesco shoppers rushing to buy ‘lovely’ winter warmer scanning for £8.50 instead of £34

TESCO shoppers are piling into the supermarket to pick up a winter warmer that's scanning for less than £10.

Shoppers pounced on a social media post to confirm the cosy warmer is "heaven".

The product - a Silentnight teddy fleece reversible duvet set - was posted on popular Facebook group 'Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK' and usually retails for far more than it's current sale price.

It's the cheapest place to get the product at the moment, although 'The Range' fans can pick up a similar one for £7.99 - but it's not reversible.

On the site, Emma Grace Lawrence, said: "Tesco Hailsham £8.50 from £34."

Bargain hunters soon jumped into the comment section to share their thoughts on the sale.

One user said: "I have this one, it's lovely."

And a second user said: "I'm over the moon with my one, it's heaven getting into bed."

While a third said: "It's so soft and comfy."

The original poster noted that the deal was found in her local Hailsham branch, in East Sussex, but it's unknown if the sale is nation-wide.

Unfortunately the warmer is showing as out of stock online today - so heat-chasing Brits will have to run to their local to see if they can get the same offer.

If you're hoping to get the deal but live in a different area, the best way to find your nearest store is the locator tool on the Tesco website, and it might be worth calling ahead to check stock to avoid wasted journey.

But shoppers should be reminded that before purchasing any product to have a good shop-around and make sure it's still the cheapest option on sites like 'Compare the Market' and 'Confused.com'.

People up and down the country are constantly posting their best-price finds on social media, and supermarkets are always dropping deals for customers to get their hands on before stocks run out.

As well as posting different one-off sales, some offer tips on how to spend less when plodding around the supermarket and doing a weekly shop.

Handy tips to spend less at Tesco

Club Card prices: The Tesco Clubcard is free to sign up for and can save punters hundreds of pounds on their monthly essentials costs - and they recently introduced special "Clubcard prices" to save even more.

Hidden cheaper aisle: Tesco superstores usually have a 'world foods' area that is full of goodies imported from all over the globe, and according to self-dubbed "coupon kid" Jordan Cox, it's where shoppers can find some of the best deals available.

Hidden coupons: Although they're easy to wander on past, Tesco stores have an in-store magazine that has free coupons inside it every month, which could save cash-strapped shoppers from paying full price for their favourite items.

Avoid higher prices at some stores: Tesco Express stores are littered in most town across the UK and although they are convenient - as they're usually close-by and open late - Brits pay a premium for the goods inside, around 10 per cent more than the larger Tesco supermarkets.

But for those that don't call Tesco their go-to essentials supplier, other supermarkets are offering deals that are exciting the public as the cost-of-living crisis continues to grip the nation.

Asda currently have a discount on a swish 'Gino D'Acampo Black 3L Manual Air Fryer' in the store's mega sale.
