Fed-up driver creates 2024 calendar featuring the 12 worst local potholes
A FRUSTRATED driver has created a 2024 calendar featuring the 12 worst potholes in his area.
Brian Bailey, 76, has named each of the hefty road divots, including Big Dipper, Big Foot and Moon Crater.
One heart-shaped hole may be put on a Valentine’s Card.
Brian hopes it will embarrass Gedling Borough Council, Notts, into action.
He said: “There’s been so much damage caused and accidents.
“People are watching out for potholes rather than watching the road so it’s a bit of fun but with serious intent.”

Although he doesn’t have a background in graphic design, Brian’s skills come from years of practice having made calendars for the golf club he works part time at.
Brian added: “I’ve been very surprised by the reaction so far.
“We’ve sold about 50 so far.”
A Nottinghamshire County Council spokesperson blamed recent flooding for the number of potholes saying: “We’ve had two storms in very quick succession and Nottinghamshire was the epicentre of Storm Henk."
The calendar is on sale for £7 with proceeds going to Maggie’s cancer charity.
