  • Chilwell delighted to move

Ben Chilwell joined Crystal Palace on loan on deadline day.

He was one several Chelsea departures along with Axel Disasi, Joao Felix and Carney Chukwuemeka.

Chilwell said following the switch: "I'm very excited to be here. Crystal Palace is a club that's going in a great direction. You look at the last few months, with the results and how the team's playing, and it was a no-brainer to make the decision to come here."

  • Milan confirm Felix capture

AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Joao Felix from Chelsea.

He joins on loan until the end of the season after spending most of the first half of the season on the bench.

Felix will wear the number 79 shirt.

  • West Brom complete Prem signing

The Baggies have finally sealed the transfer of Adam Armstrong.

The striker will join on loan until the end of the season after falling out of favour at the Saints.

  • Tel shares Harry Kane advice

Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel has revealed what Harry Kane told him about moving to Tottenham after completing a deadline-day move.

    "Everything was positive from Harry."

  • Forest land Man City youngster

Manchester City and Nottingham Forest have confirmed an agreement that will see highly-rated winger Joel Ndala make the move to the City Ground on loan.

The 18-year-old was part of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad that jetted off to the United States last summer for a pre-season tour, and made his senior debut for the club in the process alongside a number of youth names.

The deal includes an option to make the loan permanent.

  • Spurs player lured Mathys Tel

Mathys Tel has revealed Wilson Odobert played an important role in his deadline day move to Tottenham.

Tel initially turned down the transfer before a late change of heart.

He said: “I talked with Wilson. He told me: ‘Come, you have to come here’.

“He’s my friend, I played with him for the French team. He’s a good friend and he told me I should come, [that] it’s a great team and I’ll see it’s very nice.”

  • Luton pay tribute as 'legend' leaves

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu was part of Luton's journey every step of the way from non-league to the Premier League.

But he left on deadline day to join Rotherham on loan.

Luton boss Matt Bloomfield paid tribute, saying: "He's been a massive player for this football club for so many years, and he's someone I really respect for the longevity and the loyal service he's given to Luton Town. He's been great since we came in three weeks ago.

"But at this moment in time, with the competition for places we've got in central midfield, it's right for him to have the opportunity to go and play regular football."

  • Man Utd allow youngster to leave

Man Utd have let youngster Ruben Curley leave on loan to Stoke.

The 19-year-old was Man Utd's scholar of the year in 2023/24 as he returned from injury to help their under-18s team win a league and cup double.

He had been at the club for 10 years and has been training with the senior team under new manager Ruben Amorim, signing a contract in December that ran until the summer.

He has been in the Man Utd's under-21s squad this season, including playing in the Football League Trophy and he will now link up with Stoke's under-21s under Dave Hibbert.

Stoke were able to file the paperwork before last night's 11pm deadline.

  • Did Garnacho come close to exit?

Fabrizio Romano has lifted the lid on how close Alejandro Garnacho came to leaving Old Trafford.

He said: “Alejandro Garnacho had the opportunity to go to Napoli.

“But it was never really close because Napoli could only offer £42m and Man Utd always said we start from £60m – same [price] as Kvaratskhelia.

“So that’s why the deal didn’t advance at any point. There was an interest but that’s it.

“And also important to say Chelsea considered Garnacho but then they decided to continue with the current squad, to let Joao Felix go (AC Milan), to keep Christopher Nkunku at the club, and to invest up front in the summer.”

  • Carragher reveals Liverpool wish

Jamie Carragher wishes Liverpool signed a defender in the January window.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "I would’ve loved Liverpool to have signed another defender, if I am being totally honest,’ Carragher said, as reported by Metro.

"But I trust these people (Liverpool’s recruitment team) know what they are doing, because their track record says that they do.’

"There’s definitely areas of Liverpool’s team I think can be really improved.

"But I think that would be something for the summer. I think centre-forward is an area they can improve in.

"Attacking midfield is another one, and a left-sided defender. If those players were available now… I’m not sure they would do the attacking ones because they have numbers but, for me, they need to sign a left-back.

"I’m sure that will come in the summer. A left-sided defender who can play as a left-back and a left-sided centre-back."

  • Guardiola turns to familiar face

Pep Guardiola has turned to a familiar face in his bid to finally find his Rodri replacement at Manchester City.

The struggling champions were last night putting the finishing touches to a £50million deal for Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez.

And he is the son of former Spain international Fran – who was named in the Euro 2000 squad alongside Pep.

City could have saved themselves a few quid as young Nico, now 23, came close to joining City soon after Guardiola arrived at the club back in 2016.

At the time his father Fran – who was a legend with Deportivo and played alongside Txiki Begiristain – was working with the Under 18s at the Etihad Campus.

A deal was lined up for young Nico – who was 14 at the time - to leave Barcelona’s La Masia and link up with City’s academy instead.

But the move never materialised and instead he spent more than a decade on the books at Barca – something which is sure to appeal to Guardiola.

  • Why Man Utd missed Tel

Man Utd have an opportunity to sign Mathys Tel after he initially turned down Tottenham.

But the Red Devils baulked at the £5million loan fee Bayern Munich were demanding, according to The I.

United did not want to pay a loan fee nor develop the talent on behalf of another top team.

  • Arsenal considered Alvaro Morata transfer

The Gunners thought about signing Chelsea flop Morata in the final days of the window.

  • City star rues transfer exit

Bernardo Silva admits he misses former team-mate Julian Alvarez after Manchester City reluctantly let him go.

“Whenever I see Julián score a goal, I'm very happy for him; he's doing very well. Atlético de Madrid is having a very good season. I am very happy for him.”

  • Arsenal opt against Watkins move

Aston Villa offered Arsenal the chance to sign Ollie Watkins for £60million, according to David Ornstein.

But the Gunners wanted to spend no more than £40m on the striker so missed out on a deal.

Villa needed a sale in January to meet PSR and decided to sell Jhon Duran instead.

  • Man Utd let duo leave

Two Manchester United exits were confirmed after the transfer window closed last night.

Youngsters Sam Mather and Louis Jackson have both departed on loan to League Two strugglers Tranmere until the end of the season.

Mather, an England under-19 international and Jackson, who has been named among the substitutes for the first team, have been regulars for United's under-21 side this season.

The pair played important roles during the club's FA Youth Cup success in 2022, and it marks the first time that 19-year-old Jackson heads out on loan for senior action.

  • Disasi confirmed... for Aston Villa

Spaniard Gonzalez, 23, who has yet to win a senior cap, arrived from Porto after long being admired by Etihad boss Pep Guardiola.

And of course the big question is: Will Gonzalez be the replacement for injured Rodri that City have long missed?

Meanwhile, Tottenham completed a loan swoop for in-demand Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea were also mentioned in connection with the French starlet.

But Spurs not only won the race to sign Tel, they also bagged an option to buy for around £50m in the summer.

  • Coady/Dawson swap collapses

Talks over a potential swap deal between Wolves' Craig Dawson and Leicester City's Conor Coady collapsed yesterday.

The double-deal was always regarded as a long shot and did not progress to the satisfaction of all four parties.

It meant there was no fairytale return to Molineux for former Wolves skipper Conor Coady.

While Dawson will remain sidelined by Vitor Pereira at Molineux.

  • Holding a Blade after escaping Palace

Crystal Palace outcast Rob Holding has joined Sheffield United's promotion push for the rest of the season.

The versatile ex-Arsenal defender, 29, has finally been loaned out after a woeful spell with the Eagles.

Now he’s switched to the Championship to boost the Blades.

United boss Chris Wilder said: “We’ve been light in the central defensive area ever since Harry Souttar’s injury, so we’re delighted to add Rob, a player who has played the game at the highest level for a number of years."

  • Lack of United business

Man Utd made no signings on deadline day.

That's despite losing Lisandro Martinez to a season-ending injury.

Will they regret it later in the season?
