The supermarket has slashed the price of 200g boxes of Lindt Lindor Milk Blood Orange Chocolate Truffles to just 75p in a final clearance sale

The chocs are still on sale everywhere else for £6, including Sainsbury’s and Ocado

Asda had previously reduced the truffles to a cool £1.50, but has since dropped them to 75p in a bid to clear them from shelves.

Shoppers are racing to their local supermarket to nab a box after Kerry Rolfe shared the find in Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

Fellow social media users were quick to weigh in on the "yummy find" and vowed to get a box for themselves.

The truffles are said to have “melt-in-the-mouth, blood orange centres”.

“Since 1845, the Lindt Master Chocolatiers have combined their expertise with the highest quality ingredients from around the world to produce the finest chocolates,” Lindt bosses said.

“Luxuriously smooth and delicate milk chocolate shells, hiding irresistibly creamy, melt-in-the-mouth, centres perfect for treating yourself, or your loved ones.”

“Wherever and whenever you take a Lindor moment, it just seems to make life feel so much more sublime.

“When you unwrap Lindor and break its delicate chocolate shell, the irresistibly smooth filling starts to melt, gently carrying you away in a moment of bliss.”

The unique flavour has received rave reviews on the Lindt website.

“A new, richer and sharper orange variation on the ever popular Orange Lindor,” one buyer said.

“It simply melts and has a great balance of flavour and indulgent chocolate aroma that instantly had me drooling.”

Another buyer described the blood orange filling as “liquid gold”.

“I love it to the core,” a third reviewed. “It’s so smooth.

“As soon as you put one in your mouth, the crust melts quickly and then you’ve got a smooth, delicious and soft centre to enjoy.
