I’m married with kids & we lived in a one bed apartment with a roommate – my son slept on the corner of the mattress
A MUM-OF-TWO has revealed her tight living conditions in a one-bedroom flat, which the family-of-four shared with a flatmate.
23-year-old parent Anya Ledford and her partner spent close to five years living in a ''small'' apartment, which the duo shared with their two young boys, as well as another person.
The one-bedroom flat was indeed a squash and a squeeze, as the parents, from California, the USA, also had two cats roaming around the tiny property.
The young mum, who was born in Ukraine and spent some years in an orphanage, explained that her family was renting one room - whilst their flatmate was living in the second room of the apartment.
According to Anya, who shared the living conditions on her TikTok, their bedroom has a bunk bed, as well as a bigger double bed for the parents - and their baby.
Meanwhile, the older son, would chill and relax at the bottom bunk bed - and to give him a little bit of privacy, Anya had put curtains which he used to ''hide''.

She explained in the video: ''Baby sleeps in the bed with us- he sleeps in the corner.
''Then, I sleep in the middle and my husband sleeps at the end.
''That's how we share our big bed.''
The family's bedroom also had a dedicated area for Anya's vanity table, where she stored all of her beauty essentials, as well as some books and skincare.
''It's not perfect but it's good.''
The mum-of-two, who posts under the username @annaalessfam, said: ''I am still a piece of s**t - and I am fully aware that I am a piece of s**t.''
But despite criticising herself harshly, Anya was met by heaps of support on social media, where kind-hearted viewers praised the mum for ''doing amazing''.
One said: ''Mamas don’t believe all the negative things you would tell yourself, or anyone says. Keep it up! you’re doing an excellent job!''
Another chimed in: ''DO NOT say that about yourself!! You ARE a good wife and momma.''
Someone else agreed, adding: ''You shouldn’t talk to yourself like that, you’re doing the best in the situation you are in.''
''As long as your children are fed, sheltered and LOVED… that’s all that matters!'' a fourth reminded.
Although the mum hasn't disclosed whether she has a job right now, Anastasia makes money from TikTok, as well as sharing ''sponsored videos''.
The young mum, who's also an avid cooking fan, has been working hard towards here goals and saving up the cash for moving into a bigger property.

Luckily for Anastasia - who's tried several business ventures, including making cookies and lashes - the four have since managed to find a larger space for them, which is rented.
As well as now being able to afford to fork out for a more spacious home, the duo, who've been together for over six years, also recently had enough funds to buy a new family car, which they'd decorated with a red ribbon.
