Peggy, who was a technology risk partner before taking part on the show, said her new collection is about "empowerment" and is a reflection of her stylish dress sense while on the show.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Peggy said: "I never expected to leave MAFS and get a five figure fashion deal, I thought the show would concentrate on me being an academic geek and not really showing my true passion.

"I've got a huge passion for fashion, I always have done but it's always been hidden.

"I feel like on MAFS, I was always my honest self...honesty is the best policy and being unique, all of my clothes were unique, rare and one-off pieces.

"I think the way I held myself on MAFS, I wasn't really scared to stand out from the crowd, in terms of having respect and morals and speaking out on what I thought was right.

Peggy, said her new collaboration has given her the opportunity to showcase her love for fashion, which she plans to forge a new career in.

She told us: "Obviously I found true love on the show but my true love is also fashion, so it's nice for others to see that and to not just concentrate on Georges passions, which was predominately the main focus of our relationship was him and his hobbies.

"Girl In The Mirror is all about uniqueness, standing out from the crowd, one-off pieces - and that's what I'm about.

"I don't want to wear the same as everyone else, I want to stand out and this brand really does that with their pieces."

Peggy has been working tirelessly to make sure the edit is just right.

She said: "It's taken a long time. We've tried to incorporate my MAFS style, so expect to see some feathers and asymmetry and a lot of highway fashion mixed with runway catwalk fashion at affordable fashion.

Peggy said a career change is the right move for her now after quitting her job in IT.

"I have quit my job, I have realised that life's too short to be in a job you don't enjoy. I was good at my job but I didn't enjoy it like I enjoy fashion," the reality star said.

"The job I had before was not sustainable, I was making myself ill from the stress of it, it was ridiculous hours, a high-pressured role, I was one of the few females.

"This is why Girl In The Mirror is all about female empowerment, I feel like I've done that for the last 10 years and I feel like I've proven that to myself that I don't need to depend on a guy.

"I'm an independent woman and I'm all about women empowering themselves and having belief in themselves that they are special."

Peggy continued: "Being paired with Georges has made me realise that I should really stick to what I love and focus my career in fashion which has been my passion from a young age," the reality star said.

"My whole family are shopaholics and working with Kate (the owner) from GITM, it's unique, rare and I think that's what people love about my style.

"You can't just go and buy it off the peg, it's tailor made."

"I have quit my job, I have realised that life's too short to be in a job you don't enjoy. I was good at my job but I didn't enjoy it like I enjoy fashion."

Peggy said she is now hoping her fashion career will take off and she will have her own brand very soon.

She blonde stunner shared: "Next year I will be focused on fashion, hopefully have my own brand and continue to work on my collab with GITM."

The Essex babe also teased that she could be returning to TV and joining her best pal and Towie favourite Junaid Ahmed on the hit ITVBe reality show.

"I would absolutely love to go on Towie, because all my friends are on it, especially Junaid," Peggy said.

"There may even potentially be a TV show for me and Georges, I didn't realise the public would love us this much.

"Our relationship is very relatable, I've had a lot of messages from mums saying I'm an inspiration to their daughters for respecting my values and for staying true to myself.

"The clothes I'm releasing really shows independence and don't be scared to stand out from the crowd and to be a showstopper."

Peggy said her romance with Georges has gone from strength since the show ended but also opened up about their biggest challenges.

"We've been on quite a journey, it's a love story. It will be nice to show our children and grandchildren how we met - just watch it on telly," she laughed.

"Things are better than ever. People never see what happens behind closed doors, when you go to dinner parties, it's just drama for starter, main, dessert.

"Me and Georges weren't scared to have our flaws, we weren't hiding anything, it just ended up that people really like us."

Speaking about life after the show, Peggy said: "Previously I wouldn't have dated someone who didn't have a job as I want them to bring something to the table too.

"It's a partnership and a team.

"The gaming is nearly everyday now too.

"I've been so busy myself, I haven't let it impact me, I like to make him happy and it makes him happy.

"So for the time being it's alright."

The TV favourite also opened up about how the pair are navigating their long-distance relationship - with Georges living in Farnham and Peggy in Essex.

She added: "I think the hardest thing on the outside for me is the distance.

"It was nice when we lived together.

"But Georges at the moment can't afford for us to live together and I think that's the hardest part at the moment because it's an hour-and-a-half travel and we're both so busy and he obviously games.

"I don't want to just sit in and watch him game all night.

"I think that's the hardest thing, it does get harder but it's just finding time.

"But I do believe if you love someone enough then you will find the time for them, distance should not be an issue and it's not for us."
